When style meets nostalgia, something special happens. That’s exactly what unfolded when Extnded Family, an urban leisurewear brand with deep roots in South London, approached us looking for an iconic ’80s cabriolet for their latest campaign. With their brand built around community, culture, and authenticity, they knew they needed more than just a car, they needed a story on wheels.
Enter our grey Ford Escort XR3i, a true symbol of ’80s hot hatch with street cool.
This wasn’t just any classic. For Andy Ansah, Extnded Family’s brand ambassador and former Crystal Palace player, it was personal. Back in the day, Andy owned a Ford Escort XR3i himself. It was the car of the era—slick, sporty, and effortlessly cool. When he saw ours, it was a no-brainer. The grey cabriolet became the centrepiece of the shoot.
Set on a South London estate much like the one where Andy and many of the Extnded Family team grew up, the shoot captured a powerful blend of fashion, nostalgia, and identity. The Escort XR3i brought it all together—more than a car, it was a cultural icon that still turns heads and sparks memories.
We love collaborations like this—where classic cars do more than transport people. They connect generations. They tell stories. They become part of the culture!
