In her new Sky TV show, “Funny Woman,” she plays the lead role of Marwood, a stand-up comedian who struggles with balancing her personal and professional life. The series also stars Julie Walters, Shazad Latif, and Asim Chaudhry. “Funny Woman” was created by BAFTA-nominated writer Gaby Hull, and is produced by King Bert Productions. The show has received positive reviews from critics, who have praised Arterton’s performance and the show’s mix of humor and drama.
